5 Types of Tea and its Benefits!

TEA is like an alarm reminder to start the day. In one day, it was not enough that we drank only one cup. Discover the variety of tea that gives many benefits to the body. 
This popular drink can reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes, gum, stress, burn fat, and help you lose weight. Luckily, researchers are always finding new things about the health benefits of tea. A recent study suggests that drinking black tea can actually help growth and repair of bone tissue layer.

Here are five types of tea that is ready to provide health benefits for your body, as quoted Sheknows. 

Green tea 
Tea leaves used as green tea is usually processed immediately after picking. After the leaf is oxidized in the minimum amount, the oxidation process is stopped by heating (traditional Japanese way of using steam or the traditional Chinese way with menggongseng over a hot pan). Tea is dried can be sold in sheets or tea leaves shaped like a tightly coiled small balls (green tea called Gun Powder). 
Green tea is made from unfermented tea leaves that contain highly concentrated polyphenols. Green tea is often used to reduce the risk of cancer and heart disease, lowering cholesterol, losing weight (especially abdominal fat). Green tea is also beneficial in lowering risk of diabetes and Alzheimer's. 

Black tea 
Leaf tea is fully oxidized left about 2 weeks to 1 month. Black tea is the most common type of tea in South Asia (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh) and most countries in Africa including Kenya, of Burundi, Rwanda, Malawi and Zimbabwe. Literal translation of the script Hanzi for Chinese tea (红茶) or (红茶) in Japanese is "red tea" tea because the water is actually red. Westerners call it "black tea" because black tea leaves. In South Africa, "red tea" is a term for tea rooibos herbal tea which includes class. Black tea is still divided into 2 types: Orthodox (tea prepared with traditional processing methods) or CTC (Crush tea production methods, Tear, Curl has been growing since the year 1932). Black tea is not mixed (unblended) grouped according to farm of origin, year of production, and picking period (early spring, picking second, or autumn). Orthodox tea and CTS types are subdivided again according to post-production leaf quality standard Orange Pekoe. 

A study published the Journal of Psychopharmacology showed evidence that black tea effectively reduce cortisol, stress hormones. 
"The study found that people who drank black tea will be reduced stress more quickly than those who drank other types of tea," explained Bailey. 
Furthermore, the participants experienced decreased levels of cortisol in their blood after severe stress. The key, they consume black tea four times per day for six weeks. Black tea is also able to reduce the risk of cancer. 

White tea 
Tea made from leaf that did not experience the oxidation process and has not learned when protected from sunlight to prevent formation of chlorophyll. White tea is produced in much smaller amounts than other types of tea, so the price becomes more expensive. White tea is less well known outside of China, albeit slowly white tea in tea bag packaging is also gaining popularity. 

White tea is less known, but could not make it less healthy. White tea, white tea extract in particular proved to slow the growth of bacteria that cause Staphylococcus infections, Streptococcus infections, pneumonia, and dental caries, and improve immune system function. 
"According to Milton Schiffenbauer PhD, professor of microbiology and biology at Pace University's Dyson College of Arts & Sciences, antiviral and antibacterial effects of several toothpaste brands is because of the additional extracts of white tea," Bailey added. 

Oolong tea 
Oxidation process is stopped in the middle between green tea and black tea which usually takes 2-3 days. 
Oolong tea is proven to encourage the body's metabolism, burn fat, help lose weight, and maintain healthy skin. 
"Women who drink two cups of oolong tea a day increase their metabolism of approximately 157 percent more than women who drink green tea in the same amount," said Bailey like quoting a study published in the Journal of Medical Investigation. 

Herbal tea 
Herbal tea (tisane) is the designation for the herb flowers, leaves, seeds, roots, or dried fruit to make a drink that is also called herbal tea. Although called "tea", herbal tea is not derived from Camillia sinensis (tea plant). Although not considered in the technical sense of tea, herbal tea still offers many health benefits. 
"According to the Food and Drugs Association (FDA), herbal teas are very impressive in terms of reducing stress, which is a risk factor for heart failure and premature aging," explained Bailey. 
Mixed with various organic materials, such as berries and flower petals mawah, herbal tea can reduce stress, aid digestion, and have plenty of antioxidant content. We know that antioxidants able to drive the free radicals so that the body away from diseases including cancer.
